Memorial Day in the '60s

Memorial Day mornings on our Ohio farm began with getting my horse Holly ready for the Rootstown parade. Our 4-H club, The Wandering Riders, rode in silence to Homeland Cemetery. Hats off, horse and rider at attention. Many have sacrificed so we may have peace and freedom.
