The Great American Adventure
In 1963, Bill’s parents took him in their homemade camper to all the states West of the Mississippi. It was a life-changing adventure for an eight-year-old boy that fueled his dreams and opened his world beyond our 100-acre family homestead in Northeastern Ohio.
Sixty years later, Chris and Bill, along with service dog Charlie, embarked on their dream, like the one Bill’s parents shared, to see and experience the country together. It was not only about the places they see or the things they do. They found that their travels have led them to a far more meaningful journey because of the people they have met along the way and their great American adventures.
Our Mission
The American Chronicles is dedicated to telling the stories that connect people, events, and experiences while living the RV lifestyle. We hope to inspire you to explore life on the road through our stories of adventure, travel, camping and touring.

Bill is an author, public speaker, entrepreneur and strategic communications consultant to Fortune 500 companies, politicians, celebrities and sports figures. Chris is an artist, a homemake, a chef, and a fellow adventurer with Bill on many escapades that have shaped their life together.
Humanitarian Efforts
In 1992, American Chronicles founders Chris and Bill Wilson began partnering with Pastor William Agbeti to provide clean water, food, clothing and medical assistance to children and underserved families in the rural areas of Ghana, West Africa.
These areas are places where the large churches will not go. Wilson's and Pastor Agbeti are serving on the front lines of Islamic expansion, where it can be very dangerous for Christians to provide any kind of outreach.
